Raptors vs. Warriors Game 6 Free Predictions

The Toronto Raptors had a chance to finish the series at home, but lost by a single point (106-105) and now have to head back to Oakland for another chance to end the series in game 6.

Kevin Durant started game 6 and had 11 points (3/3 on 3-pointers) in 11:57 mins of action, but he left the game in the 2nd quarter with what’s expected to be a torn right Achilles tendon.

NBA Championship Game Predictions & Betting Tips

It’s terrible news that Durant went down and I just hope he’ll be able to play next season.

The Warriors were noticeably worse in the 2nd half without him, but DeMarcus Cousins played close to twenty minutes, scoring 14 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson went a combined 12/27 on 3-pointers, including three big shots in the final 2:32 mins of the game.

Kawhi Leonard tried to do everything he could to end the series. He wasn’t at his best early in this game, but he finished with 26 points after scoring 10 points in the final 5:13 mins.

Raptors at Warriors Game 6 Odds

  • Money Line: Raptors +125 vs. Warriors -145
  • Point Spread: Raptors +3 (-115) vs. Warriors -3 (-105)
  • Game Total: Over 211 Points (-110) vs. Under 211 Points (-110)

The Raptors have won both games at Oracle this series, but the Warriors are small favorites. I’m not sure they should be favored at all and the Raptors money line (+125) is my best bet.

Raptors at Warriors Game 6 Best Bets

Toronto had a terrible shooting night in game 5. They shot 44.7% on FGs (38/85), 25% on 3PT (8/32) and 77.8% on FTs (21/27). Marc Gasol had his best game of the series, finishing with 17 points and 8 rebounds, but the rest of the starters struggled and that’s unlikely to happen again.

The Warriors shot 47.6% on 3PT (20/42) in game 5 and I expect Nick Nurse to make adjustments and not allow any open shooters on Thursday night. There were way too many open 3-point shots last game and the Raptors have had success when forcing the Warriors into the paint.

NBA Prop Lines are a Great Way to Bet and win consistently

Playing on the road at Oracle should lessen the pressure the Raptors feel as well. If they come out and play like they did in games 3 and 4, they’ll have no problem closing out the series.

I’m also betting on the under 211 points in this one. The Raptors need to buckle down on defense like they did in game 4. Knowing Durant is out will allow them to game plan how they did earlier in the series and I expect them to smoother Curry and Thompson out on the 3-point line.
