Butler (5) vs. Duke (1), 9:15 ET: This matchup is as close to a David vs. Goliath as we’ve seen in a long time. Tiny Butler University takes on National powerhouse Duke University tonight in Indianapolis. Butler’s defense saved them in Saturday night’s win over Michigan State. The offense only scored 1 FG in the final 12 minutes. They will have to do much better than that if they want to keep up with Duke. Center Matt Howard is questionable because of the head injury he suffered Saturday. Even if he does play, he will probably get into foul trouble as usual. Without an inside presence, Butler could be in big trouble. Duke is firing on all cylinders inside and out. After going 0-for-10 against Baylor, Kyle Singler came through against West Virginia with 21 points and 9 rebounds on 8-16 shooting. Duke has too many weapons and depth to lose to Butler, but we’ve seen everything in this tournament so far. I’m going to predict a Duke win, but somehow Butler will find a way to cover.
