Boise State Broncos at Georgia Bulldogs Preview

To open the 2011 NCAA college football season with a real gem, the Boise State University Broncos travels to Atlanta, Georgia to face the University of Georgia Bulldogs. The game between the two nationally ranked teams kicks off at 8:00 p.m. (EST) and will be aired on ESPN.

Phil Steele has selected the Boise State/Georgiagame as one of the most anticipated games of the year. Georgia dominated Boise in Athens in 2005 48-13. The Broncos will be looking for revenge.

Ultimatecapper’s Pick: Boise State opens the season with a must-win game against the Georgia Bulldogs. The Broncos return most of the pieces from last year’s team that went 12-1 including QB Kellen Moore. They lose their two top receivers, but there’s plenty of depth there. These seniors are 38-2 overall and 3-1 in nuetral site games. This could almost be considered a road game since the Bulldogs will be playing in their own backyard. Georgia still has Aaron Murray at QB, but lost their leading rusher and top 2 receivers. Expectations seem pretty high for a team that went 6-7 last year and lost 10-6 to Central Florida in the Liberty Bowl. I think Boise controls most of the game and wins by a touchdown.
