25-year-old Philadelphia, PA native Amanda Musumeci calls Las Vegas home and tries to spend as much time enjoying the great outdoors as she possibly can. From hiking to camping to rock climbing to paragliding, Amanda clearly has a passion for adventure sports. Enter online poker. Originally playing under the alias, “Manderbutt,” Manda (as she prefers to be called) credits Bdg’s online poker room for providing her with an atmosphere most conducive to learning, allowing her to “blossom” into kickass player that she is today. In two years, Manda went from playing in Bodog Poker’s sit-n-go tournaments, to winning numerous guaranteed tournaments and bigger multi-table tournaments and amassing over $200K in tournament winnings. Amanda’s first foray into the world of poker started back in college, but when a friend invited her to an Aussie Millions event she quickly realized her calling. Meeting and befriending female poker pro Anna Wroblewski at the Aussie Millions, she then moved out to Las Vegas with Wroblewski, who trained her and staked her and together they currently share a condo owned by Anna’s friend, poker pro Barry Greenstein.
