The Red Sox won the first game of this series 9-5 Monday night.
These two teams are on opposite tracks. Boston has won 3 of its last 4 games, while the Yanks have dropped 4 of their last 5.
The Sox lead the AL East by 2 ½ games over 2nd-place New York.
The Yanks won the season series with the Sox 10-9 last year, the over/under going 10-7-2. But Boston has taken 4 of 5 games from New York this year, the o/u going 3-2.
New York is 10-11 on the road this season, 1-4 as underdogs.
Boston is 12-6 at home this year, 21-12 as favorites.

The Red Sox list OF Wily Mo Pena as questionable for Tuesday with a wrist injury. Also, C Jason Varitek doesn’t usually catch Wakefield.
