The 2010 NFL season has been a troubling one for quarterback Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings, as they limped out of the gates early to a record of 2-3. With one of the most anticipated match ups of the season fast approaching in Week 7, it’s time for you to get in the game.

Once considered potential Super Bowl contenders, the team will have their work cut out for them to simply make the playoffs. Luckily, they may have gotten just the jump they needed prior to a Brett Favre/Green Bay Packers reunion scheduled for Sunday.

Fresh off of a 24-21 win over the similarly struggling Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, Favre and the Vikings will head to Lambeau Field where Favre spent 16 years of his illustrious career. When the two clubs met in Wisconsin last season, it was Minnesota who prevailed.

This year, however, the Packers will benefit from the continued development of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the man who eased the burden when Favre first left the club back in 2008.

Had Green Bay decided to cave when Favre expressed an interest in coming out of retirement back then, Rodgers may have never developed to the superstar he is today. According to the Bodog Sportsbook, the Packers have 14/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl.

At home against the Vikings, Randy Moss, or not, the Packers have to be considered favorites. Think you know how Week 7 will unfold?

Can an emotionally charged Favre lead his Vikings (16/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl) to a third consecutive victory over his former club?
