The point spread for Wednesday’s First Round NCAA Tournament game between the Virginia Commonwealth Rams and USC Trojans opened up at -4 on Sunday evening in favor of USC at Bovada and the total was set at 130.5. The spread hasn’t moved much, but the total has gone down 3.5 points to 127 as of Monday night. So far, 59% of the betting public is on the Trojans. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.

Over is 5-1 in Rams last 6 neutral site games.

Under is 5-2 in Trojans last 7 non-conference games.

Under is 5-2 in Trojans last 7 neutral site games.

My Prediction: Both these teams have a real chip on their shoulders coming as just about everyone thought that Colorado and Virginia Tech deserved this spot more than VCU and USC. As I look at the last 10 games these two teams have played I find two quality wins by VCU. At Wichita State and George Mason on a nuetral floor. USC won at Washington two weeks ago, but really doesn’t have anything else. These teams are pretty similar statistically. This is a tough one to call for me so I’m going to take the points.

VCU +4.5
