The point spread for Thursday’s Sweet 16 game between the Arizona Wildcats and Duke Blue Devils opened up at -8 on Sunday evening in favor of Duke at Bovada and the total was set at 144.5. The total hasn’t moved as of Tuesday night, but the spread has been bet up to 8.5. So far, 67% of the betting public is on the Wildcats. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.

Wildcats are 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win.

Wildcats are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 NCAA Tournament games.

Blue Devils are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.

Blue Devils are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 NCAA Tournament games.

Over is 7-1 in Wildcats last 8 NCAA Tournament games as an underdog.

Over is 4-1 in Wildcats last 5 games as an underdog of 7.0-12.5.

Over is 6-2 in Blue Devils last 8 Thursday games.

Under is 11-4 in Blue Devils last 15 overall.

My Prediction: Arizona comes into the Sweet 16 by escaping with very narrow wins in their first two games. A blocked shot as time expired stopped Memphis 77-75 and a 3-point play late doomed Texas.

Now they get a Duke team that has Kyrie Irving back and playing well. Coach K said he should played significant minutes tonight. Arizona has proven they can win the close games, unfortunately, this one won’t come down to the last minute. Reality sets in at this point in the tournament and I think Duke cruises in this one.

Duke -8.5
