The point spread for this year’s Texas Bowl between the Texas A&M Aggies and Northwestern Wildcats opened up at -10 in favor of the Aggies at BetOnline Sportsbook on 12/24. The total is set at 66.5. Right now, 63% of the betting public is on Northwestern and 75% are on the over. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.

Aggies are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games.

Aggies are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games in December.

Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Big 12.

Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 bowl games.

Over is 6-2 in Aggies last 8 games as a favorite.

Over is 11-4 in Aggies last 15 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game.

Over is 4-1 in Wildcats last 5 neutral site games.

Over is 4-1 in Wildcats last 5 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0.

My Prediction: Another matchup of 6-6 teams here. The Aggies and Wildcats are going in opposite directions. Texas A&M had high expectations to begin the season, but lost 4 of their last 5 games. Northwestern is hot right now winning 4 of their last 5 led by QB Dan Persa. He’s had a great season since he came back from injury completing 74% of his passes and 17 touchdowns. I believe he will be the difference in this one. I can see a back-door cover late.

Northwestern +10
