You have to forgive John Q Public who resides in the UnitedStates of America, as they just get cannot seem to buy into thiswhole Seattle Seahawk scenario. Ask the majority of fans fromthe state of Pennsylvania to tell you where Seattle is and manywill just say somewhere west!
The beautiful state of Washington has always played second fiddleto the city of Washington which is located in the District ofColumbia and is the nation’s capital. When one thinks of footballin Washington, they automatically refer to the Redskins who arethe richest sports franchise in North America, with an estimatedworth in excess of a billion dollars.
While the Pittsburgh Steelers have loved the role of underdogthe past few weeks and will even wear their road colored whitesweaters in the Super Bowl, make no mistake the Seahawks are thebig dog, yet their coach has three rings and they have six playerswho have played in the big game.
All of a sudden Big Ben is the second coming of Tom Brady andwho can blame folks who have become a believer in the exceptionalleader from Lima, Ohio. He is 12-3 this year and has won in twoof the most hostile venues in the NFL in Indy and Denver.

Getting emotional when placing a bet can be suicideand millions of sports bettors are going to wager with their hearton the Super Bowl, rather then look at the facts. Jerome Bettismay be back in his home town, playing his final game of his career, but he is not in the same class as Seahawks Shaun Alexander.
Big Ben has been fantastic as we have mentionedbut I am quite confident in backing the Seahawks and more importantlyMatt Hasselbeck. He’s not new to the playoff picture, so don’tlook for this Mike Holmgren pupil, to regress on the bug stage.
Who is working the hardest leading up to theSuper Bowl?
That’s an easy answer as it has to be owner GordonGodfred of Polar Graphics U.S.A and his incredible staff. Godfred, owner of Polar Graphics U.S.A., figured it was safe to tell thecrew at his Kent shop to start rolling on NFC title T-shirts andsweatshirts.
But so many fans were talking on cell phonesor taking pictures with their phones, he couldn't get a signalout of Qwest Field. And the fans were so loud, Godfred doubtedhe could have heard anything even if he did connect with the shop.
Not to worry - his crew knew what to do: Theyalready had started on the Seahawks-Reebok contract that mightresult in up to 500,000 sweatshirts and T's over the next threeweeks.
As of Monday, workers had printed about 100,000shirts. Some suppliers who arrived at Polar Graphics at 4 a.m.for their orders were asking for more by Monday afternoon. Hudson'sNews, which stocks stores at Seattle-Tacoma Airport, had shirtson the shelves by 6 a.m. Hours later, the manager was callingto restock.
Sunday's crew pulled a 24-hour shift, and Godfredexpected the crew working in front of him to work another one.
"We're going to be going in 24-hour shifts forat least five days," he said. He estimated about 100,000 shirtswere on conveyor belts of the Kent warehouse Monday afternoon.Based on retail prices ranging from $16 to $60 depending on theshirt, the batch at the warehouse could be worth $2.5 millionin retail sales.
Ultimatecapper Says: Their making those t-shirts for good reason. Steelers fans are going to be surprised when they see that Seattle is not only a formidable opponent, but one that should may even be favored in this game. Ultimatecapper says win, lose or draw, take the points with the Seattle Seahawks!
