One of the best rivalries in the NFL takes place tonight in Pittsburgh as the Steelers host the hated Ravens. They split the season series as each team won big at home, but before this year, the Ravens and Steelers games ended in 3 points or less 6 of the last 8 times. It’s no surprise this line is set at 3.
Big Ben is having another career year for Pittsburgh, but he’ll be without the AFC’s leading rusher in Le’Veon Bell. The carries are likely to be split between Ben Tate, Josh Harris, and Dri Archer. Bell was also second on the team with 83 receptions out of the backfield. The Ravens won 5 of their last 7 games, but haven’t played a playoff team since losing 43-23 to the Steelers on November 2nd.
I was originally going to go with the Steelers in this, but I really think the injury to Bell is a big one for Pittsburgh. It’s going to allow the Ravens to key on the passing game. Roethlisberger torched the Ravens in November with 6 touchdown passes.
PICK: Ravens +3
