Call me crazy but it looks to me like SANTA CLAUS CAME TO TOWNEARLY with this BIG UNDERDOG GIFT. You heard it here, not onlyis GB the BEST (1-5) team EVER in the NFL, but they WILL WIN theDIVISION. Its not far fetched as the Lions are leading with onlya (3-3) record. Don’t be surprised if this division is won witha 6-10 record.
The Packers are coming off what may be their WORST defeat inthe past decade under the leadership of Brett Favre. The Packwas leading 17-0 close to halftime when I turned off the tv, onlyto turn it back on an hour later to see the Vikings lining upfor what looked like a 78 yard field goal, actually it was 56,second longest in NFL history for the 23-20 win. After the game, Favre himself was quoted as saying that ‘he may have no magicleft’ but it amazes me how week after week , loss after loss,he still continues to play his HEART out. Does anyone realizethat the Packers have lost 4 out of 5 games by an average of lessthan 3 points? Not to mention that these teams include Tampa Bayand Carolina. GB lost all 5 games by an average of 4.5 if youfactor in the one bad 17-3 loss versus Detroit.

The Bengals on the other hand are having theirBEST season in over a decade at (5-2) but are coming off of aBAD LOSS versus Pittsburgh last Sunday. Lets not forget that theBengals started at 4-0 which they desperately needed for theirconfidence since they are such a young team , however, they nowhave lost 2 of their last 3 (lost to Jax 2 weeks back) and I havea feeling that this may mess with their confidence, particularlyQB Carson Palmer who’s boyhood idol is Brett Favre. In additionthe last time the Packers were a big favorite +7 versus Carolinathey covered rather easily.
Call me ABSOLUTELY CRAZY but (and don’t do thisplease) but Im also throwing a few small dollars on the PACKERSoutright on the money line +330 just for a goof.
Green Bay’s entire team is banged up, they aremissing their starting WR as we all know, now RB Ahman Green wontbe available for this one also. Well they weren’t winning withhim in there so Im ready to take a shot with the backups in there.
