NBA Future Betting: 2017-18 Team Win Totals

Now that the major NBA free agents have signed on with their new or existing teams, it’s time to start looking more at future NBA betting odds and that includes win totals for each team for the upcoming 2017-18 season. The last big available player, Gordon Hayward, has decided to leave Utah and play for his former college coach at Boston. The Celtics, Jazz, and Kings remain off the board for the time being, but will likely be posted soon. You can keep checking back at this page throughout the summer as we update it.

The Golden State Warriors not surprisingly, top the list at 67.5, while the lowly New Jersey Nets come in as the potentially worst team at 21.5 wins. After years of rebuilding and playing second-fiddle to their in-city rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers currently predicted to do better than the Clippers. The Clippers took a big hit in their roster and the odds board as point guard Chris Paul left for Houston. Blake Griffin will be left to pick up the pieces.

Speaking of the Rockets, their total is set at 55.5, which isn’t much of an increase of their 55 wins from last year despite landing Paul from the Clippers. Another team out West with a nice new addition is the Oklahoma City Thunder with Paul George. Their win total is set at 46.5, which is loser than the 47 they won last season.

The team expected to improve the most from last season’s win total are the Minnesota Timberwolves. The won just 31 games in 2016-17, but are set at 46.5 for the upcoming season. The addition of Jimmy Butler combined with their current stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins should result in a much better season.

The Clippers are expected to take the biggest drop from last season with a win total set at 34.5 after winning 51.
