As indicated by the odds, many are calling forthis to be a close bout. Morales looked like crap in his lastfight but that shouldn't give one much of an indication of whathe really has in the bank because over the years he's been knownto fight down to his level of competition while facing lesseropponents. In this fight we see him boxing more than banging andwe expect a long fight that will go the distance and be decidedby a decision.
Pacquiao comes in and poses a serious threatto Morales in that he's an explosive puncher with his combo'sand with him being a southpaw, he comes at opponents in anglesthat their not necessarily used to. This could result in a KOas well.
Some are asking if Morales is over the hill andis at a disadvantage due to being a couple years younger thanPac Man. We don't think so, despite having a bunch of fights underhis belt, 29 really isnt that old for a fighter.
It should also be noted that this is a revengefight. These two boxers met in March of 2005 with Morales comingout victorious. Pac Man cited wearing gloves that he was not comfortablewith, which sounds like b.s. but could be true. He also had bloodall over the place has he had a nasty cut which happened duringthe brawl.
These two fighters couldn't have more differentstyles either. Morales starts out slow and Pac Man is lookingto annihilate his opponent with a multi punch combo right whenthe bell sounds. With revenge in mind, Pac Man could do himselfa real favor by getting out of the box quickly vs. the slow startingMorales.
The Ultimatecapper Pick: Between Moralesbeing a slow starter, coming off a loss in which he looked verysluggish and this being a revenge fight (we're expecting Mannyto come out REALLY fired up for this one) we think Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao gets the money Saturday night.
We do expect this fight to go the distance aswell. We see Pac Man getting the upper hand, Morales coming backin the middle to late rounds with Manny winning by 5-10 punchesin the end to grab the money.
