| A poster in our forum recently asked if "if bets"were a good thing to do. To us, it's not a question of if its agood thing to do, it's a bet based on circumstance of bankroll.See below for more info:
"If" bets are a good thing to do if you havea limited bankroll and your betting it all on one game with your2nd game of choice going off before the 1st one ends.
Example:
You have 100 bucks in your betting account, youwanna bet an early nfl game AND a late nfl game but fear thatthe first game wont be over by the time the second one starts.(Which essentially means you wouldn't be able to get your betin due to having a zero balance in your sportsbook account)
The "if bet" kicks in as a second bet IFyour first bet wins.
On the flip side, it could be viewed as a suckerbet too, because if your going to bet both for sure why not beta 2 team parlay at better odds?
Our opinion: Skip the if betand do a parlay
Speaking of parlays, have you seen progressiveparlays where you don't have to win every game and can still cashat
Sportsbook.com
?Good stuff for parlay bettors!
