The 2013 Kentucky Derby field is filled with great competitors. The two favorites, Orb and Verrazano will both start near the end of the field at 14 and 16 respectively. Verrazano is a perfect 4-for-4 and is looking to be the first undefeated Kentucky Derby winner in a long time. For value's sake, I'm really impressed with Goldencents. He has won four of his six races including three graded stakes races. He also has a runner-up finish in the Champagne Stakes at Belmont. His trainer is Doug O'Neill who won the Kentucky Derby last year with I'll Have Another.

Fun Fact: Itsmyluckyday and Vyjack are the only two horses to have won on a muddy track, and the weather does not look good this weekend in Louisville.
