THANKS....on my 2000th post....
I just want to thank the people who have put together, run and moderate this site for my 2000th post....
Kevin, Bobby B, Queen, Horfin, Yomonte, jerbeek, MeesterMike, Coreyshuckey, JB, CF and Snowman....
As most of you know I am probably, at 43, amongst the elder statesmen who are members of this wonderful site....I have been laying on football games with the man for over 25 years now and it has always been fun....I used to help my old man pick games from the Sunday paper when i was a friggin teenager....but this place makes it more fun...what it has done for me is turn a goodtime and bad habit into a passionate....let's call it... hobby...I've seen every gambling forum over the years from here to Timbuckfuckingtoo and none have the quality this site does...for years I was your classic lurker that no one ever heard from....I stole information to help me take money from the man....I always kept my head above water and never got into $ probs...mostly because I was just a small player looking to win for win sake...not make a living....and information I lurked for helped me do that....I dont lay on Bases, Hockey or BB....just football....and college fb has always been where i spent most of my time...i always agreed with the old saying in the NFL that any team cant beat any other team on any given Sunday....i always found picking college to be easier and more consistent....you'd never know that from my 7-10 start this year....but year in and year out in CFB i finish in the black....thanks for what you do and hope this site is around for a long time....
To my fellow forum compadres....mucho gracias to all of you for all the input and feedback...I wont get into naming individual forum members because everyone has contributed to the success of this place in one way or the other and it is the mutual respect we all show to one another that helps us digest information to make solid choices....when that occasional asshole shows up it doesnt take long for us to see they are what they are and sooner than later they either get their asses kicked out or just leave....respect is what this is all about....we are always gonna be on the opposite side of someone else on a game but it doesnt matter....information gathering and sharing is what this is about and is why i am here....thanks again....

Congrats Dead.
I'd just like to say that you are welcoming and helpful to newbies, and that is important to make this site even stronger. If the first threads I got involved in on this site were a bunch of self proclaimed experts who thought they were above everyone else (like a lot of sites) then I would not have stuck around and tried to contribute. I am mostly a hockey, bases and CFL capper (the Canuck in me), but I love watching the NFL & CF, and want to learn about it. This site, and posters like you have helped me, and alot of others do that.
Have a good season.......and go Houston Cougars (my new fav team, lol)

its been a great ride on the UC Forum....truly enjoy being part of the team....missed everyone while i was on my short myrtle beach sabatical this past week....needed a little soul cleansing....right....i'm ready for a friggin liver transplant....
