Playing Detroit straight up, putting up $292 to win a profit of $584, that's 2 to 1 odds (+200 on the moneyline)! Only catch is that if Miami wins by 11 or more points I'll be out a grand. Played moneyline Detroit and a prop on Pinnacle that says Heat will win by greater than 0.5 but less than 10.5.
If I spread the bets a certain way to get an identical return no matter which team won the game (assuming Miami by less than 11 of course) I could have gotten a return on investment of 17.70 %. But with the injury to Wade and Shag being beat up I shifted the bet towards Detroit winning to give myself a chance at a ROI of 58.4 %.
