Update: 30-12
Disaster night last night going 0-2. No more plays for me in the Detroit series...if these guys aren't going to be predictable then I don't want anything to do with them, lol. I'll probably play a few less games now and wait until I really feel strong on one.
But for today, I'm gonna try this yet again in the Miami-Washington series. Adding:
Miami - Washington UNDER 102 1h
Vegas just insists on this number but in only 1 of 8 games recently has the half-time total reached over this. In the series so far, they have come close, pushing on a 101 total and two going under for a 2-0-1 record. I have to see if it works again. In each game we have had huge scoring at the end of the second half that made it close and push once, so I'm hoping today it can be more solid and just go way under somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if Shaq sits out again. I think Miami really feels they can win without him and if so, why not. I think that situation is a push for this play, as you lose Shaqs easy scores underneath you probably add a few penetration points for Washington but I think the key for this play is the ability of Miami to disrupt Washington's strength which is their guards. They don't allow them enough easy looks at the basket or sharp passes in transition. They recover too quickly in the transition game and are too fast and pesky in the half-court game just generally disallowing Washington's key strength. I expect this number to drop to 101 so if you like it all you better grab it now. If I'm wrong and it goes to 103 I would definately take it because it will be a result of the total game line movement. This is something I see as a fairly solid half time play, not necessarily for the whole game.
