Friday: Detroit -3.5

I'm gonna go against the home scheme on this one. Detroit I think is clearly the better team and Indiana shows no propensity to be stronger or weaker at home and with game 2 serving as a wake-up call I think Detroit comes in super focused and ready to kick some a** in this one. Money, and I believe smart money coming in on Detroit overnight. If they show up in playoff mode, they cover this.

I believe the home trend is just over 50% so far for the second round, maybe 1 or 2 games over 50/50 so no play is worth pounding in my view, you just flat bet these suckers.

Well that was a disaster. I'm pissed now because I got undisciplined and took the away team. Didn't take Seattle last night and it won, didn't take Indy, and they are going to blow the doors off Detroit.

Adding: Dallas -2

Of course this will now lose but I'm taking the damn thing anyway. Just like Detroit, Phoenix showed a lack of dominance in not grabbing a 2-0 lead at home so there is no fear here in taking Dallas and giving up 2 at home. This is gonna go 7 games I think, and no reason to think any play is huge in this series just as we are learning in the Detroit - Indy series.
