Finland Veikkausliiga YTD: 0-0 (Even)
This was one of my favorite leagues last season and why not when you were able to bet on FC Haka all last year. This year however it seems as though the league will be a dogfight from start to finish. Will keep all my plays in this thread for the season. I've sucked in soccer of late so please be cautious here. Looking foward to a profitable season. Best of luck to everyone!!!!

1* Tampere United (-225) Over FF Jaro - 12:00 PM
Tampere finished in 3rd place last season and Jaro finished in 8th place. Tampere didn't lose much from there team last season and it showed in cup play in preseason going 2-0-2 scoring 10 goals while giving up just 3. Tampere is expected to finish around where they did last season maybe a 4th or 5th place finish will be in store for them. Jaro is one of the main relegation candidates this season. They lost a bunch of players from last season and there team lacks quality depth. They had a rough preseason and in Cup play they went 2-2. Last season Jaro lost 10 of there 13 games on the road. Two weeks ago these two met at Tampere and Tampere won 4-0.
1* FC Inter Turku/ AC Vantaan Allianssi Over 2.5 (-108) - 12:00 PM
I really wanted to take Allianssi in this game especially after there really strong cup play but I decided to take the over in this one instead. In Allianssi's 5 cup games (4-1 overall) 4 of them went over scoring 11 goals while giving up 7. For Inter there cup play was alittle poor going 1-2. In there 3 games 2 went over and 1 went under. They scored 3 goals and they conceded 4. I rate Allianssi slightly better this season after Inter lost many players in the off season. Value play is on Allianssi and I still might take them but there was a low enough line here on the over.
1* IFK Mariehamn (AH -1/2) (-108) Over RoPS - 12:00 PM
Newly promoted Mariehamn will look upon there water dwelling to help fortify there stay in the premier league. They kick off the season against arguably the worst team in the league. Mariehamn used there home ground last season as a boost to get them into the premier league and I don't see against the weaker team in there league why they can't continue that trend. In the preseason cup Mariehamn showed what they will most likely do in the regular season. In the two games in which they faced weak opponents in Jaro and TPS they won 3-1 and 1-0 respectively. When they faced the stronger teams they lost to Haka 4-0 and Inter 2-1. Most believe RoPS will be one of the relegation teams this season. With a thin lineup and small budget they will be hard pressed to stay in the league this year. In the preseason cup they went 0-3 getting outscored 7-2. Decent odds on Mariehamn. There strong home play in the past i think will be the key here. For Mariehamn to stay in the league this season they will need to win games like this.
1* KooTeePee/TPS Under 2.5 (-111) - 12:00 PM
Two teams who have solid defenses and KTP have a weak offense. TPS features one of the leagues best keepers so that should help any under. In TPS 3 cup games they all finished with the scoreline of 1-0. In KTP 3 cup games 1 went under and the other 2 went. Thinking first regular season match both teams will try and concede little here. TPS with a strong defense and goalkeeping i think will keep this to a 1-0 or 1-1 game here.
1* HJK Helsinki/TP-47 Under 2.5 & 3 (-128) - 12:00 PM
Basing this one off Cup results. These two met in the first game where HJK scored a late goal to win 1-0. HJK played 3 unders and 1 over (or 1/2 loss cause it was a 3 goal game). In those 4 matches they scored 5 and conceded just 2 goals. TP-47 will probably be an over team this season. In there 3 matches they had 1 under and 2 overs. One of the overs was due to a red card being handed out early in the match. Just think this is a high number for early in the season. HJK should win this match but i think more along the lines of a 2-0 win here.
This is the first round of regular season matches so please be aware of that.
