Well I wasn't going to post anything until I had sufficient last 3 data......But I had 2 winning days with the info I do gather so here's todays plays....

LOS -124 (value 2)

ARI. +102 (value 2.8)

SFO +128 (value 3)

CLEV -113 (value 1.9)

Normally I don't bet a team below a value of 2 , but 1.9 is close enough at this early stage....

What's your formula?? And is it all you use to make your picks?? What does a value of 2 or more mean?? What type of ROI??

Don't know about your formula, but I'm on all 4 of your plays as well!

OK rjp.....

I use the data available @ USA Today game matchups....

I enter games played, inninigs pitched, era, runs for & against, the same thing for last 3.....

I also enter bullpen era, same for last 3....

Then my program determines by the average innings pitched, when the bullpen will take over, assess the probable runs by both pitching components, generates a quantity....

This is then further enhanced by weighting of comparison to first @ last 3 data.....

Runs for @ against are also added into the equation the entire value is then printed out for each team & the difference between values is the value displayed....

My determination is that a value of 2 or more is quite strong.......

Keep in mind that all the data is an average so peaks & valleys will emerge as the data becomes more available...

As noted last 3 data is not available as yet so that quantity is effectively 1 & does not reflect on either team...

These values will become weighted as the season progresses...

Cool, but keep in mind pitching is just 42% of the battle!! Hitting 50% and defending 8%! It can be argued that fielding will show up in the pitching, so it's at most 50%!!

All that's true ....

Hitting & defending info hopefully shows up in the runs for & against data.....

I try to assess all the games so I can select the highest value of the lot....

To get any more data ie fielding, defence, etc, I would have to go to the team pages & that isn't a practical exercise time wise....

My old lady already gives me shit for spending too much with you guys as it is...LOL...

And believe me I'm not pussy whipped, but you can't live with them & you can't kill them, so just grin & bear it.....
