• MARINERS -110 (Moyer) over Royals (Bautista)
After a 3-3 start, I see KC dropping down into the basement where they will reside all year. Seattle has won 14 of last 19 in KC, and looking for the sweep today. Serviceable Moyer has looked good his first 2 outings. Mariners have the better lineup. Much like yesterdays win with Baltimore, going with my gut and laying on the better team. Period.
• NATIONALS -132 (Hernandez) over DBacks (Vasquez)
Everything here points to a DC win with their first home game in 34 years, and a nice little 2 game winning streak over a tough Braves team. Hernandez pitched a gem last time out with 1 run in 7 innings against FLA. Vasquez has been brutal with 13 runs over 7 innings in his first 2 starts. Vasquez is a lifetime .500 pitcher, but gets the respect of a #1 guy for some reason.
• BLUE JAYS -115 (Halladay) over Rangers (Astacio)
Halladay has his Cy Young stuff back, although the numbers don't reflect it. He's due for a 4 hit shutout. Astacio a fraud.
• TIGERS +125 (Robertson) over Twins (Radke)
Radke's been hammered so far, and was 0-2 with a 10.13 ERA in two home starts against Detroit last year. Robertson solid first time out. Going with the value in this one.
