Sunday's Picks and Parlays

OK, got some good pitching going on Sunday, so should be an interesting day.

Here r my Parlays:
Det -140 (Bonderman pitching against Cleveland)
NY - 160 (Pavano pitching against Baltimore)
Houston -150 (Oswalt pitching against Cinci)
Oakland -160 (Harden against Tampa Bay)
Minnesota - 150 (Santana against Chicago)
LAAOA - 220 (Colon against KC)

That adds up to a 19.5 - 1 play.

My other one is very similar but I removed Minn and LAAOA and added Philly + 140 (because Lieber is pitching well, although Carpenter is starting for the Cards) and Chicago + 140 (because Buehrle is pitching and Santana had a bit of a shaky outing first start. Either way, I have both sides on that game, so I am hedged).

This below adds up to about a 50 - 1 play.

Det -140

Oak - 160
Hou - 150
Philly + 140
Chicago + 140

The other interesting picks of the day are

NYM (Pedro - 150) v. ATL (Smoltz + 140). I do like Pedro here, but Smoltz could hand the NYM their sixth loss.

Bos (Clement - 120) v Tor (Lilly + 112). A bit of a tight line -120 for the Sox in Toronto?!?! I would think that the line would be closer to +140 for Lilly, at which point I like the pick.

I refuse to bet on the Mets, Yankee v Red Sox games, LA v SF games, and any Cub game. I also think St Louis is very overrated.

If I make all the lays it would be about 8 total, the one above at 160 - 1. (200 to 1 or greater on all the 10 plays When I add Chic +140, it goes all the way up to 243 -1.

But I find it pretty tough to see Colon, Schmidt, Becket, Pavano and most of all Santana losing all on the same day.

But you never know just don't put your hopes too high.
