Hello to everybody...
I am new on this forum and new in the gambling world.
I may start on a bad step with my fisrt loss on my first bet tonight (Lakers +9.5 :bang: ).

I wish luck to everybody (and myself).

I have a question probably stupid but I am currious. People talk about "unit(s)" on their threads to tell how much they bet.. What represent a unit ?

Thank you...

A unit is what you want to make it. You can make it $100 or less. So for example if you use $100 as a unit and you have a 5 unit play it means that you are betting $500. Usually the units vary based on how strongly you feel about the game.
Quite a few guys here firmly believe though, that you should always wager equal amounts of units on all of your games. Since you are new to the gambling world it would benefit you greatly to browse through alot of threads to gain some knowledge on how fols handicap and wager.

Welcome to the forum:thumbs: :yeah:

I surely recommend betting equal units. The best games that you double up your units always seem to be the ones that look too good to be true and come back to bite you in the arse.
