I've been a member of sportsinsights on and off for the past couple of years. I know there are probably a couple of others on these forums that also use the service. I want to be as fair as I can about this post also but I will have a hard time because I like honest business practices.

In January of this year I purchased a subscription to thier service for 6 months premium access. This access included all sports and all information contained on the site. Today I logged in to see a new pricing structure put into place that effectively raises thier rates by 900% They basically were saying that they were not going to honor the six months for all sports left on my purchase. They said I would have a choice to stay on as a basketball member or I could switch to a baseball member and after that the new rates would kick in.

Now I have NO problem with a company making money and I have NO problem with a service that gives you important information and paying for that service but that is not truely the case at sportsinsights. All the information at sportsinsights can be found FREE at different places on the web. I paid for the convenience of having all the info in one spot and the fact that the info was from multiple sources.

I will give them credit that over the last year thier layout and scruture has changed for the bettor and that they agreed to honor my purchase after a nasty email I wrote to them but that is about as far as the credit can go. I would think the pop up ads and the banners ads they have been putting into thier systems should gernerate enough income to cover the little bit of layout work they had to do on those improvements to the site.

I would urge anyone who has a sportsinsights account to email them and let them know that you will no longer be supporting them and thier efforts when they do not have a clue as to how to treat their costumers. On the other hand also anyone who would like to just send an email telling them that they aware of there business practices because it has been posted here please also feel free.

The site does not show their business location. They also do not show up in a search for business license's that I could find and I also could not find them listed with the BBB. Hopefully they will share this information if they wish to continue doing business that excepts cash payments.
