1-0-1 on Posted plays, 2-2-1 overall yesterday, now 169-169-6 on the year for -16.9 units...Not a good thing in CBB, however, 3-1 in the NBA, 3-2 overall yesterday in the NBA as I played the Heat +3 1/2, losing by the hook & dagger...now 83-56, +21.4 units on the year...argh...

All records monitored by Wiseguytracking as well...LOL

Anyhow, to today's plays...

Just CBB for now: Nba will be up later on the NBA picks forum.

Rhode Island Rams +17, Rams lost 58-53 away last year and this club is a lil better than last years club. Temple is a bad dd fav.

Florida State +10, Noles loss 63-60 last year away and GT ailing without Elder. FSU hungry for improvement this year.

Providence -5, Friars baked UVA last year at UVA so this is a revenge game for UVA however, UVA sucks!!! Gillen will be looking for a new team next season.

Xavier -13, X won this game last year 84-45, with or without Thornton it ain't gonna matter. The Explorers are a bad road team.

Colorado +16, Buffs very eratic club though on the road they've played a bit better, beating ISU, staying within the vig at Kansas and whooping Richmond on the road. Tech not a good home dd fav as is Knight.

Northern Iowa -12, Panthers won this match last year at home 80-67 and Evansville not any better than last year. UNI is a lil eratic as well, however they should handle this game in their UNI Dome.

SIU -3 1/2, Salukis won this game away last year by 10 and are in a pissed off mood versus another club that has overachieved this year in Bradley.

Wake Forest -3 1/2, public has bet this line down from -4 1/2 to -3 1/2 and I know Duke very well, however, man for man, the Demon Deacons have the best backcourt here and are at home and won this rematch from last year, 90-84. If the total comes in less than 160, I'm playing this one over as well. Totals should be up later this afternoon.

Lastly, A&M Aggies +13 1/2, Sooners are tough at home and I really like Gillespies bunch, even though they have played the weaker sister schedule, A&M on the Road has given Kansas fits and stayed with the big boys. Some respect is wanted by A&M and I think they'll get it here vs the Sooners.

Later...and BOL

Hey ToP? Could you update your CBB records? Come back and get em tonight bro!! <snicker>

You need to keep all your plays in one thread - you gave a WED thread - so put it in their. No use of making 2 threads - takes up server space.

Info from X's homepage... below
Wednesday’s Storylines
• Xavier has boasted an extremely balanced attack this season. XU has four players averaging in double figures in scoring between 11.4 ppg. and 11.8 ppg., although one of them is injured (Brian Thornton).

• Sophomore forward Justin Doellman suffered a broken nose late in the game at George Washington last Tuesday. Doellman, who is now sporting a clear polymer face mask for protection, played well with his new look on Saturday at Saint Joseph’s. Doellman had a team-high 16 points to go with six rebounds, three assists and four steals.

• Junior guard Dedrick Finn is second in the Atlantic 10 in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.80-to-1.00. He is fourth in the A-10 in assists at 4.8 per game.

• Sophomore forward Justin Cage has averaged 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds over the last eight games compared with 10.2 and 3.8 for the first nine.

• Freshman guard Stanley Burrell has scored in double figures 12 times, including 15 points at Saint Joseph’s and the game-winning three-pointer at George Washington last week. Burrell has averaged 11.4 ppg. for the season. The last freshman to average double figures in scoring was Romain Sato at 10.7 ppg. in the 2000-01 season.

• Stanley Burrell has averaged a team-high 14.7 ppg. for Xavier’s seven Atlantic 10 Conference games, which ranks tied for eighth in the A-10.

• Junior forward Brian Thornton’s status remains uncertain for future games. Thornton, who is battling a case of chronic tendinitis in his lower left leg, played only ten minutes at Saint Joseph’s and did not play at all in the second half. Despite having just two points and one rebound on Saturday, he still leads Xavier in rebounding (6.7 rpg.) and field goal percentage (.615) and at 11.8 ppg. (200 total points) is just one point shy of team scoring leader Justin Cage (11.8 ppg. and 201 total points). Thornton has started all 17 games this season but is unlikely to continue that streak against La Salle.

XAVIER PROBABLE STARTERS (9-8, 3-4 A-10)
F - 3 Justin Cage, 6-6 SO, 11.8 ppg. & 5.2 rpg.
F - 15 Justin Doellman, 6-9 SO, 11.4 ppg. & 5.2 rpg.
C - 52 Will Caudle, 6-9 JR, 4.8 ppg. & 2.1 rpg.
G - 12 Dedrick Finn, 6-1 JR, 8.4 ppg. & 4.8 apg.
G - 34 Stanley Burrell, 6-3 FR, 11.4 ppg. & 2.5 rpg.
HEAD COACH: Sean Miller (9-8, first year)

BOL on this game....I took Xavier -12, it went up to -13 1/2 and back down to -12 due to injury information on Doellman who will play but is uglier than a Man-Whore!!

Later..
