Supposedly this time tomorrow the streets in Atlanta will look like a Krispy Kreme donut but tonight a little Heat comes to town as Miami looks to sweep the sorry Hawks. The Heat comes in an Eastern Conference best (NBA 3rd) 31-13 SU.
Miami is one of only six teams in the league with a winning record on the road (15-8) and they’re also 9-0 SU against the Southeast Division (7-1-1 ATS). Miami is also scoring 109 PPG within the division.
The Hawks are just cruising as Antoine Walker is pretty much auditioning for another job this season or next. The 9-year man out of Kentucky spent 7 years in Boston but has been to Texas and GA the last couple of years. According to a recent SI article he’s ready to settle down again.
There are teams who need someone that can shoot but Walker is also getting the reputation as a gunner and that is never good. Walker scored 29 against his old team last Saturday on a 13 for 26 night so the ability is there.
