Vick wont be the reason Atl wins today though he will contribute. The Falcons will control the ground game with both backs, running in between the tackles against a weak Eagles run D...better with Trotter in the middle but teams havent done enough to exploit just how soft they are. The biggest factor in a Falcons win will be their aggressive D. Even a porous Minny D did better in the second half once they decided to put pressure up front against McNabb. Atl's D is much quicker and harder hitting than Minnys so I expect them to come out of the gates and punch Philly in the mouth, making doubt come into the minds of Donovan and the other Eagles....

I was a MAJOR doubter of the Philly run defense and their ability to move the ball and score without TO before last week's game.

Their run D was superior last week however, and their pass D has never been suspect, and really only gave up 7 pts when it mattered. The 2nd TD was a BS score after the game was decided.

Offensively, they moved the ball almost at will, granted that was against a weak Minnesota defense, and really should have scored about 40 in that game....which is still impressive against anyone.

I think Philly just may make a statement today, although I'm in no way doubting Atlanta and their strong run game and good defense.

I think it's a tough call, although i do like Philly.

Irish guy...........no M VICK is the reason.......if they have average joe QB....they wouldnt COVER the spread.......he is 2 hard 2 defend against...& atl de is underated i give u that...............i also think the cold weather helps ATL..........just imo

Every time I look in these forums and go with someone's picks I lose, but today I see a lot of the guys who 1000+ posts on Atlanta, so I'll take Phili -6 ,even though before the playoffs started i predicted Steelers/Falcons superbowl... im thinking N.E./Eagles now.:cool:
