NFL in my opinion

I haven't made an NFL wager since the regular season ended. In my opinion, the perception of who will win in a playoff game is of the most negative of values in sports wagering. I stuck out the regular 17 week season to break even at 52.73% win %. WTFIT ???

The urge to play $100.00 or $1,000.00 just doesn't grab any sense of thrill for me in these playoff Conference deciders because there are just too many variables to consider one team to be better, be more prepared, to have more ability to capitalize on mistakes, & to over analyze and conquer.

Dont stress your brain or bank account.

Grab a brew, the remote, make sure the phone is on call forward to the message centre, join a few friends :huddle: and watch these men pulverise each other in sub zero, whiteout, deplorable play conditions that none of us should even dream about ever doing. :bang:

To each his own. I'd suggest that playoff football can be easier because the one X factor you can eliminate is motivation. Rarely does one team have an edge because they're all chasing the brass ring. No "letdown" spots, resting guys for next week, etc.

I always felt the problem for guys is needing to bet most or all of the games. It doesn't add up when you're making 5 plays during a typical week with 15+ games and then in the playoffs you're making 5 plays with only 4 available games just to have action or the pride of trying to get it right. Picking your spots becomes far more important.

Plus, in hindsight the signs were there for us to take the value of St. Louis vs the Seahawks, New England vs Indy, etc. so I don't think the playoffs are any less predictable. Lots of media hype to tune out though and most of it is off the mark.
