took a few days off as close losses etc really seem to be coming in bunches as of late and its frustrating..have decided that for a few weeks unles something really stands out im just gong to play big west conference games as there what i know the best and if i just stuck to those id be way up instead of down on the year..anyways on to the games and ill do something brief on all the games even if im not playing them.,
Games im not playing(info for those who might be playing them)
Fullerton +13 at USU..really like fullerton but wish i would have known that asprilla(true fullerton fans would say is probobly there most important player)got hurt and is out for the year..experementing with new lineups and in there first game without asprilla they got beat by 17 at home to a not very good uci team..utah st has an amazing home court advantage and after
there tough road week losses last week i expect them to bounce back well at home..last couple home games theve failed to really open up the final margin ..if forced to play id probobly take fullerton +13
LB St +12.5 @ UC Irvine..not impressed with either team to put $ on them but i think 12.5 is too many points for uci to cover so if forced id take the points
Games im playing
CSN -3 @ UCSB
after starting conference play with a 1 point home loss to a very good fullerton team theve gone and won 6 straight including there last 2 games at home against idaho and utah st..before that won 2 road games by 16 & 14 against lbs and uci(both should be battling with ucsb and poly for the bottom
4 places in the conference)..played already this year with csn winning by 20 at home..ucsb has been hit hard with injuries and only suit like 7 or 8 players for each game..since the injuries hit theve played tough on the road but still lost by dd as there far from the team they were early in the season..have won there last 2 games which were at home although it was against 2
horrible teams in ucdavis and poly..csn playing too good for a undermaned ucsb team and see them winning by at least 9
taking csn -3
Pacific -13 @ Cal Poly
pacific finally starting to get some votes in both polls after beating utah st and idaho last week makes me happy..pacific ats spread wise has done far better on the road this year going like 4-1-1 ats on the road..really seem to come out more focused on the road and put together more complete games than
they do at home..played earlier in the year with pacific as a 20 point favorite in stockton and covered..cal poly recently lost at home to ucdavis by 23..ucdavis isnt even officially part of the big west yet as its there first year in d1 and they beat you by 23 on your homecourt..unexcusable..fans already talking of
boycotting home games and looking forward to baseball..tigers put together there biggest road victory of the year winning by 19
UCR +7.5 @ Idaho
Idaho returns home after 2 losses to the upper tier of the conference on the road and should bounce back at home were theve won 4 in a row including a 7 point win vs utah st..since getting guys back from injury theve played some good basketball
and havent gotten much respect in terms of lines as people look and see there 5-11 record and assume there not very good and are wrong..saw them play saturday and win me some $ as they lost by 9 at pacific in a game that was close most of the way
..believe in there last 4 there 4-0 ats..ucr on the road is 0-6 although they have played tough at times on the road it still
makes no excuse for the loss earlier at home to ucdavis..last game barely beat ucsb at home..going to continue playing idaho until i see lines start reflecting as good as they are ..idaho by 12
