Miami +8
i really like miami to beat duke straight up here but i'll take the points just in case. duke relies a great deal on its backcourt of reddick and ewing to outplay the opposing guards on the offensive end and defensive end, but with miami's hite and diaz i don't think they have a big advantage, if any. only way i see duke winning or having a chance in this game is if sheldon williams has a big night. plus a big dog in a conference home game seems like a good bet to me with the talent level of miami.
Virginia +11
i'll continue to take big point spreads in conference play with teams that are close to talent until it stops working. uva is a solid team and maryland hasn't shown me much this year. should be a close game throughout.
NC State -6
coming off a good win over georgia tech, i look for nc state to handle tech pretty easily. v tech is a football school and don't pay as much attention to their basketball program. no answer for hodge and tech will have a tough time in the ACC this year.
NBA: 1-1
NCAABB: 4-1
