the public has been on Indy since the game was announced. Right now I see it at 74%-26% Indy, which is the largest difference of public favor amongst this weekends four games. The books havent adjusted the line at all to attempt to get more money on Denver which seems to tell me that they're fine with the heavy action on the Colts. (also, this games line is the only one to have not moved at all one way or the other). The 1stH numbers are usually just half of the posted game line and total. With the 1stH line at 6.5 and the game line at 10 the books ,imo , figure the Broncos have a better chance to keep it close in the first half before the Colts have a chance to pull further away in the 2ndH.
Considering the potent Indy O and the fact that before last week’s meaningless matchup with Denver, Indy ranked fourth in the league in red zone defense and had allowed just 20 majors from inside its own 20 all season its a bit hard to think the Broncos will keep within a TD at any point in the game.
Gonna roll the dice in the 1stH but look to pound the 2ndH with a Colt play. I should place a .5 unit play here to be safe.
