huge card today....tough to nail down a select amount of plays.....
BUT -6..............................1* (BUT has owned this series at home going 7-1 SUATS...they are outscoring opponents 72-53 at home this year, while UWGB is being outscored 77-62 on the road. BUT has to win this one as they dropped a tough one in OT to UWM last time out)
RICE -2 (1/2pt).....................1* (BOIST lost one of their top players in ellis to a hernia. RICE has been bad on the road this year, but i think they will rebound from the pasting they took at UTEP for a W here. BOIST really missed ellis in their last game as they blew a 12 point 1/2time lead to TUL and barely hung on for the win. If RICE is going to contend for a title, they have to pick up a couple of road wins, and this is one i think they can get)
NIA -11...................................1* (they have owned this series with IONA going 9-2 ATS L11 and 2-0 ATS at home L2. I don't think that IONA has the offense to stay in this one, as they only average 63PPG on the road. NIA is averaging almost 90PPG at home and boasts one of the nations top scorers)
N'WSTN +17(1/2pt)..................................2* (NW manages to slow every game down. They only allow 55PPG on the season, and granted, MSU will put up more than 55...BUT...NW has been competitive the last couple of trips to MSU getting beat by 10 and 13, and MSU has yet to cover a big number this year against a repectbale opponent)
PROV +6........................................2* (L4 have gone to the road team, BC is 0-3 vs. the number at home this year, and this is a great potential flat spot for BC coming off the win at UCONN. I see BC scurrying late for a W, but no cover here)
