Hey Fellas, New to the board and def. loving it! Ive been hott of late with NCCAB. Ive been Pickin out games from the lower eschelon squads such as Evansville and Marist on Friday.
So far Im liking the following games (tend to like alot of underdogs for some reason)
Temple +17 against Duke. I am thee biggest Dukie fan there is, not only has duke played a little bit slow this season but they also tend to slow it down at the end of games wen they are up by 15+. Not only that but more importantly, Temple has kept it close to two ranked oponents this year. Only losing by four to WAKE FOREST! I think they can def. cover this one, even tho it does scare me being in Durham.
MD+12 against UNC. This is a tough one, might not be on my ticket but Gary Williams prides his team on strong defense. UNC is PROLIFIC, they can run away with a game by 20+ quicker then any1 in the D1 but sometimes they get sloppy against tough defenses. I think UNC mite win, but itll be closer then people believe. MD has alot of scorers too (gilgrist, caner-medly, ect.)
RICH -6.5 against Fordham. Lone favorite I like out of the games between 12-2 oclock. They are a great team, dont let their record fool you. They have played some tough teams and are experienced. Fordham is home but will have a hard time against the spiders.
Arkansas +5 against Florida. The only thing the gators have going for them is that its in Florida. Matt Walsh is out 2-4 weeks. HE is their leading scorer. the only other 2 players that score on their team is roberson and matt lee. Both arent really going to lite it up. Roberson is silky wen hes on, but i see arkansas playin tough, I see them winning this game outright, but i'll take points cuz Florida is more experienced and is home.
Pitt.-3.5 over Rutgers. Pitt coming of two losses suprises me, THEY WONT, lose a 3rd. Im a student at Rutgers Univ. and have seen tons of games. They are soft inside defensively. TAFT AND TROUTMAN are going to have a field day. Only way RU has a chance in this one is if they shoot 45-50% from the trifecta, which is not really hard for them. But i still say PITT cuz RU chokes.
I can go on forever, their are tons of games i LIke, im really looking for feedback on these specific games. Let me Know wat u all think and ill respond to your thoughts. i appreciate it alot, and i hope some of my insight will win u some $$$. Thanx again
