16-12 YTD -- Bonaventure covering against No Ill was not kind to me a few nights ago. Had to take a break for a couple of days...
Picks for Friday
Ohio State -12.5 v. St. Joe's -- Buckeyes play well at home. St. Joe's may still be overvalued from last year. Ohio State, with all the O'Brien troubles, is being undervalued IMHO. If the Dons can beat St. Joe by 26, I think the Bucks, at home, can cover this number.
Creighton -1 @ SD -- Just think Creighton is a better team that has played a better schedule. Playing at SD shouldn't bother them. Think they can, in essence, win the game SU and cover this number.
Illini -5.5 v. Cincy -- I have won some cash on Cincy thus far this year...they were being undervalued. And, this is a revenge game from last year when the Illini crushed Cincy in the second round...there was also a lot of smack talk going on before and during that game. Cincy lost some starters from last year's team...Illini didn't. I just don't see this being a test Cincy will be able to pass. I think the Illini beat the Bearcats by 8-14 points on a neutral floor.
GL and Happy New Year to everyone...be safe tonight!!
