Looks like BC is the better team (8-3) with a tough defense for the most part. I'm really worried about QB Peterson coming off a month long injury to his throwing hand and he seems a little questionable. UNC certainly has the SOS adv.(Utah,Miami, VaTech, Virg, FSU) and it looks like they will have 65,000 fans compared to BC's 7500 in Charlotte, giving them a huge home field advantage. Anybody have a solid lean towards either side? Thanks

Im going with UNC for a couple of reasons. You mentioned the home feild advantage, UNC will have tens of thousands more fans there than BC, obviously not the biggest advantage but its something to look at. SOS isnt even close here, BC hasnt played many good teams this season, UNC has played just about everyone this season and hey, they have won a few and played pretty damn good in the rest of them..
You saw wat the last ACC team did to a Big East team in a bowl, GT dominated Syracuse..This one will be closer but I must go with the ACC team here?
Besides this game, im stumped on the other 3???

I like UNC also, but them being 107th IN TOTAL DEFENSE scares me, right now I'm undecided but my lean is towards UNC.

I am leaning towards UNC as well, for a few reasons. First, Peterson is coming off of an injury not unlike Gradkowski, from Toledo. We all know how that went. Secondly, I think Scott will be able to run the ball. He went up against a tougher Miami D and ran all over the place. Thirdly, BC has to be disappointed in not reaching the BCS bowl after their loss to SU. Lastly, the homefield advantage should help the Heels win this game. I really like the Heels in this spot. Just my two cents.
GL whatever side you're on!!

If I had to pick a side, I would lean to UNC as well. I like the O 52 possibly even more though
Looking at that now and will post in a bit.

I have decided the UNC/BC game is a no play for me.
After looking into it further, BC has only gone over 52 twice this year. Once in a loss to WVU (36-17 win) and in their last game against Syracuse (43-17 loss).
UNC has gone over 52 in 8 of 11 games, but I think BC has a good enough defense to hold UNC to under 27 points. I can see a 27-24 game here.
Any pick of a side would be a wild shot in the dark.
Good luck to those of you playing it today!!

UNC's defense has played considerably better at home.
