NFL : 2* ATLANTA

The Falcons have dominated this series cashing the ticket in 18 of the last 25 including 10 of 12 in NO. The Falcons have wrapped up a home field bye thru the 1st round so Michael Vick sightings may be rare today. Vick is nursing a sore shoulder so Matt Schaub may get the start.

The R out of UVA has thrown only 7 passes this season for 9 yards and a pick. These Birds are 11-3 SU and have clinched the 3rd division title in team history thanks to the new $130,000,000 man the aforementioned Vick. Warrick Dunn has 922 yards and 8 TD while the hobbled Alge Crumpler has 774 yards and 6 TD.

The Saints have won 2 straight games and find themselves tied with Carolina and St. Louis for the NFC Wildcard. They close the season next week in Carolina. NO is a dismal 2-5 SU 1-6 ATS in the Dome. They’ll face the #10 team in the league when it comes to stopping the run as Atlanta is allowing less than 103 YPG.

New Orleans is 0-3 as a chalk this season and in their last couple of home losses they’ve given up 66 points against Denver and the Panthers. Atlanta will have to deal with Vick’s cousin Aaron Brooks today as well as Joe Horn who has 1248 yards (#2) with 10 TD.

I hope you are wrong about this one!!! Unless all the info I have is inaccurate. I'm hoping the inability to score for atlanta comes into play here. I'm looking for some stalled drives. NO playing for a Playoff spot Atlanta playing for nothing.

:gulp:

This game is interesting to me because there are 2 completely different ways to look at it.

Falcons have clearly played better and should be able to beat the underachieving aints by a TD anytime.

But then there's injuries and motivation and both of these advantages clearly go to the aints. I'm not sure of the entire NFC playoff picture because quite frankly, I believe the ENTIRE NFC is a complete joke, but I do believe that as sad as it is, the Aints can still make the playoffs if they win their last 2 games.

Normally playing must win teams in a game that is meaningless for their opponent is $$, but with any of these pathetic NFC squads, it's real tough to pull the trigger, lol

Yeah a no play for me. Falcons win this one in the playoffs, but betting a team with nothing to play for (and maybe no vick) is a little risky. Can't lay the wood on new orleans either, so I'll lay off. Good luck
