Infrequent poster but wanna track myself during bowl season. Expect to play few games due to all the coaching changes, but hope to make enough to cover my baseball expenses for next season. I need a few maple bats...

Pops, throw a little luck my way...RIP.

-------

BOWL SEASON: 4-3

Champs: GT -5 W
Vegas: UCLA -12 L
Hawaii: HAW -3.5 W
Computer: UVA -5 L
MotorCity: TOL -3.5 L
Indy: ISU +1 W
Insight: OSU -4 W
Emerald: NewMex -2.5 ?
Music City: Alabama -1.5 ?
Liberty: Louisville -11 ?
Fiesta: Pitt/Utah Over 66.5 ?
Orange: Oklahoma +3 ?

---------

Champs Bowl
GT -5 vs Syracuse - I like GTs defense and tougher schedule. There should be a little healthy QB competition tonite between Ball and Bilbo, Ball certainly not guaranteed anything next year after this years amazing display of poise, accuracy and decision making. Add PJ Daniels into mix and I'll gladly lay less than a TD.

--> update #2 <--
Vegas Bowl
UCLA -12 vs WYO - watch the DREW show on ESPN. Maurice and Olson hammer the Cowboys, who are a much different team (in a bad way) away from home.

Hawaii Bowl
Hawaii -3.5 vs UAB - playing on the island is worth at least 3 pts for HAW. Chang hangs 40+ playing against pass DEF ranked #75 effeciency. Wins against NW and MSU give this team confidence.

GMAC Bowl - after looking at this one, I think I'm gonna pass. Too many angles and probably rain in the Alabama forecast. But there were some interesting numbers that stuck out (NOTE: I used selected conference play stats only. You'll find different numbers elsewhere)

D Lo Williams got almost 68% of his conf rushing yards against Houston, Tulane, and USF
Wimprine is INT prone, 11TD - 10INT
Memphis DEF allowed 15 PaTD vs 3 INT.
Omar Jacobs threw 21 TDs, 1 INT, completing 65% of passes
BG allowed 4.1 RuYPC and 15 rushing TDs

Under better conditions, I'd prolly go BGU but due to forecast I'll lay off and look towards tomorrow.

2 games today...

ComputerBowl
UVA -5 vs Fresno St - tough call here but I'll go with UVA having played in a tougher conference and a better SoS. Fresno St lit it up last few games, but against lesser comp. Major factor for UVA is that Pinegar throws a lot of INTs. Love duo of Pearman and Lundy.

Motor City Bowl
Toledo -3.5 vs UConn - just no way to go against Toledo they way they are playing now, but to back it up....UConn pass defense giving up 236 YPG, 14TD vs 3 Ints. Toledos defense not great, but plays well vs run. If Orlovsky throws a lot, he will rack up the yards bit will throw a costly INT. Hate losing McDougal, but Toledo scheme will be too much for UConn.

I cant pick my nose right now....gonna go with some gut feeling plays tonite.

Iowa St +1 vs Mia-OH - I simply do not like Betts at QB. Seems to strong arm it, not very much touch when I saw him play. Plus the TO margin in ISU favor. Gut says ISU defense is the factor

Oregon St -4 vs ND - if Tuck doesn't play, Anderson should go off against a poor Irish secondary. Definite strength vs weakness matchup. Gut says too much crap surrounding Domers program means lack of focus. Irish hangs for a while but cant pull it out.

BOL.

Gonna be away, so here are my remaining plays. No point in big writeups, other people do them better than me. Simple GUT PLAYS for me, I like to lean towards better defenses.

Emerald Bowl: New Mexico -2.5 over Navy
Music City: Alabama -1.5 over Minny
Liberty Bowl: Louisville -11 over Boise St
Fiesta Bowl: Pitt/Utah Over 66.5
Orange Bowl: Oklahoma +3 over USC
