Im sorry that you have to waste your time to read this. This isnt the kind of post we like to make.
Lately there has been a handful of issues in which people are speaking out against our staff.
Issues regarding posts being deleted, posts being merged, name calling, members being targeted by fierce moderators with a chip on their shoulder, power tripping etc.
First of all, if you have a legit issue, email ME! Id love to dicuss legit issues. My email address is Ultimatecapper@hotmail.com I take FULL responsibility for anything a Moderator does at this site. While it may be a bit hard not to wanna make it a public issue, it is much better handled through me. Im a very fair person. I assure ya of that ;)
Im going to answer all these issues so we can put this bickering to rest. None of my thoughts or answers are directed at any one poster, so please, DO NOT BE OFFENDED by this post whoever you may be.
Lets hit the deleted post thing first.... If a post was made that is not good for the integrity of the forum, it will likely be deleted. If a post is made where you are bashing another poster, it is surely going to be deleted. If you are calling another poster out, it will surely be deleted. Posts where guys are asking for emails may likely be deleted as well as we have decided not to offer this service. We've had too many unscrupulous people making attempts to lure our posters to other forums. Thats the way the world spins, but we've decided we're not going to fuel that fire. Sorry, I know that sucks, that ruins it for some of the good guys, but we just dont wanna deal with it. If you post YOUR email it will be deleted. Lastly, if you made a post that doesnt add any value to the board, it may very well be deleted. On the flip side, we've had guys think we delete their posts but what really happens is that it may have gotten bumped down a page.
If your post was merged into another one, its likely because your posting a basketball pick in the football forum, a hockey pick in the baseball forum etc. You get the picture im sure! For some reason this really pisses guys off, but can you imagine the shitstorm we'd have if everybody just up and posted whatever they wanted wherever they wanted? Conversley, this is the same reason we have lines drawn on the road. No organization causes chaos!
Racist remarks...Needless to say this will result in the boot. I liked this italian1 guy that was booted, but shit, he was banging on the hawaiian guy in a way that was offensive to all hawaiians. We cant have that shit. The sad thing was, the guy he was barking at was indeed a dickhead, it's just too bad that he had to flame him in the way he did.
As far as name calling goes, this is a fairly isolated cause and was blown way out of proportion. While we try to avoid this at all costs, sometimes shit happens. Guys need to kiss and make up, not constantly battle. Memo to everyone... You cant win in a forum war! You will never meet the person your fighting with, aint nobody gonna win that fight. Drop it! Its a moot point. Move on and get to doing what you came here for, to talk sports and make picks. Forum life requires some intellectual thinking at times and the ability to reason and come to terms with others.
Lastly, please people, lemme assure you that our moderators, NONE OF THEM, have a chip on their shoulder, are powertrippers, or single people out. Well, Yomonte may single some folks out, but its for good reason and thats why I love him. :) If you get on Yomontes shit list you may as well just flame out with all you got in one post cause that ol' MF dont forget nothin'! Ok, all kidding aside, (Yo is a great guy and one of the legs that built this table) these people are volunteers that do what they do because they care about the community. Hell, half the time when a guy needs to be banned, they dont wanna do it because their just not harsh people, nor do they wanna see anybody go. They understand that maybe your having a bad day, or have had a few beers, lost a few bets etc. However, if ya backem into a corner and leavem no choice, they gotta do what they gotta do.
Please respect their decisions. I trust each and every one of them as if their decisions were my decisions. Lets expand on that. We've spent 4 years building this forum up to be what we think is one of the best of it's kind. Im not about to put authority in the wrong persons hands and fuck that up.
If they make a decision, please respect it because whatever their decision may be, trust me when I say this... It is for the best of the forum.

Oh, last thing. The latest fad seems to be blasting somebody in your signature. If we happen to come across that from here on out, we're unfortunately left with no choice but to remove your posting priviledges. (yeah, great, now I sound like a power tripper!)
Sorry, but banging on mods or other members is complete horseshit and is a complete disregard for the integrity of the forum. Agree to disagree with people, let things go. Posting some shit in your signature is a low blow and I take that shit personal. Your going against whats good for the forum and that basically tells me you dont give 2 shits about this place which makes me not give 2 shits about hitting the ban and ip block button.
Quality over quantity. If ya dont like our rules and want to engage in that type of communication theres a big forum where they will let you say shit like:
"You whack off to my gramma"
"You fuck animals"
"Your picks stink"
"Fuck you"
"Fuck me"
"I fucked your wife"
"You push poop"
etc.. Im sure you get the point. If you wanna partake in that type of shit, http://www.wagertalk.com is the place for you.
If you wanna get along and act like a team, please, stick around. The best has yet to come here. This place just keeps getting bigger and better with time and we intend for it to stay that way.
Oh, last thing. I've been receiving emails about guys posting lines that are grossly deviating from reality. Also getting complaints about guys posting false records. What the F is that all about? I can understand a mistake but why dummy up the digits? If you do it, stop, it just makes you look like an asshole. THEN, I gotta get an email from a guy bitching about it which I dont have time for! Sad but true, Im so busy that sometimes I have to piss in a can on my desk cause I dont have time to get up and run to the shitter! Please post correct records so people dont email me and say look at this dumb mother fucker with the line off by 4 points, cause frankly, that pisses me off when I get those because that may mean the difference between me pissing in a can on my desk or a nice comfy toilet. (No, there is no truth to the rumor that I shit in my paper shredder!) Its not common, but damn, that's just beyond me. If I gotta show my shitty record, you gotta show yours too ;)
