Kobe is ready to apologize to Shaq and he’s also pissed at the Mailman. Oh yeah, he is also playing a helluva game of basketball right now too. Last night he led his Lakers into Arco Arena for a clash with the hated Kings and after blistering Sacramento for 31 points (on 59% shooting) and 12 assists, came out on top of a 115-99 win.
Kobe is leading the league with 27.1 PPG and is the #8 assist man with 7.1 per game. He’s getting a ton of support from Lamar Odom who is chipping in with 14 PPG and ranks #7 in the league with 10.6 RPG.
The Wizards will tip-off a 5 game Western Conference trip tonight at Staples bringing their 3rd best record in the East to the table. The Wizards were crushed in a home and home with Miami this week and they’ve dropped 5 of their last 6 ATS.
Washington has definitely exceeded expectations this season as Antawn Jamison and Gilbert Arenas lead the way with 21 PPG as the LA native returns home tonight. The Wizards beat the Orlando Magic on November 10th and that is their lone win against a winning team this season.
