Might as well start one for myself:
So far I'm 1-0 for the bowl season.
Next pick:
Georgia Tech vs. Syracuse
I'm going with Georgia Tech on this one because I believe Reggie Ball's scrambling ability is going to create problems for Syracuse's D. I'm not saying he'll pull a Michael Vick, but I think he will scramble for crucial 1st downs. Also Georgia Tech is coming off a tough loss to a very tough Georgia team, while Syracuse beat a team without their starting QB.
Georgia Tech has played the tougher schedule and everyone knows about the Big East this year. Also expect a larger contingent of GT fans.

:welcome:
Looks like a solid pick and I agree with your assessment of the game. Right now Im definitely leaning toward GT. Too many strange things happen (e.g. the Oregon St. suspensions) to make my play this early, however. Hopefully the line stays under six by early next week.

Hey thanks guys, GL with your picks as well! :bbang:
Also to add, I would consider buying a point to make it -4 or lower.

3-1 (freaking UCLA!!)
Next bet:
Hawaii vs. UAB
- I'm taking Hawaii in this game. Timmy Chang is a streaky QB that seems to step up at home. Remember last year's game?
Virginia vs. Fresno St.
- I'm taking Virginia. I really believe Virginia's o-line will overpower Fresno's d-line and Pearman and Lundy will have a big game.

4-2... Damn Virginia :bang:
Tuesday's Picks:
Miami (Ohio) vs. Iowa State
- I'm going with Miami (Ohio) in this game. Iowa State's passing attack is too fickle, and I'm always iffy about betting on a team with a freshman QB in a bowl game. Miami (Ohio) has the senior leadership and a squad that knows what a bowl game is like (last year with Big Ben). They also have a D that can stop the run, which again puts more pressure on the shoulders of a freshman.
Oregon St. vs. Notre Dame
- I'm going with Oregon St. ND's passing D is weak and Derek Anderson will have a field day if he gets hot. Also I believe Mike Haas is the most underrated WR in college; the guy is simply awesome and knows how to get open. On the other side of the ball you have 2 shutdown type CBs, the better being big Brandon Browner. Also helping is stellar safety Mitch Meeuwsen. If Oreg. St. can limit ND's running attack, the Beavers will win comfortably.

Big Back Wednesday Picks
Colorado vs. UTEP
- Alright this was a real tough one, but I'm going with Colorado. Why? One player, Mr. Bobby Purify. He is a big bruising back that can take over the game. I predict he will wear and tear on the UTEP D and help sustain drives. Colorado has gone 4-1 when Purify rushes for over 100 this year and he will reach that mark this game.
Ohio St. vs. Oklahoma St.
- Another tough one, but I'm going with Oklahoma St.. With the suspension of Troy Smith, I think Ohio St. offense is off-center once again. I'm just not sold on Ohio St's o-line and the fact that Zwick is a sluggish lead foot makes the dreaded pounding even more foreseeable. Mornecy of Oklahoma St. is simply an awesome hard running back; yes, Ohio St. has a great LB in A.J. Hawk, but he can't do it himself all game.

Thursday's Picks
Teasing NC and Cal
North Carolina vs. Boston College
- I'm taking North Carolina +4 in this game. They've played a tougher schedule, beat Miami, and hung tough against Virginia Tech. Chad Scott is an underrated back that can post some big numbers and Darian Durant is a shifty QB that might neutralize the BC line. Peterson of BC also has an injured hand which puts a lot at risk; one big hit and he might aggravate it. I know I'm going against the public in this one, but this is a home game for NC and I'm expecting they come out pumped.
Cal vs. Texas Tech
- I'm taking Cal -5 1/2 in this game. Jeff Tedford will have this team focused and ready to make a statement. Aaron Rodgers has so much composure to his game that I doubt he gives up the costly turnovers. I also expect Arrington to run wild against TT's D.
Let's go Tar Heels and Bears!!!
