Greer out for Depaul?

Guys,

Any truth to the news floating around that Greer was suspended for academic reasons and will not play against Northwestern tonight? If so maybe N.W is the play? Any help would be appreciated.

I heard that rumor too, BUT you would think that ESPN or CBS would be reporting it too. So until they report it I wouldnt trust the rumors...

Guys, this is such old news, it's ridiculous that smart sports gamblers don't know the facts. Greer was out the first two games of the year for academics. He has been playing for the last several games. He won't be suspended now because DePaul is a month into the winter quarter. Suspended in the middle of a quarter? who would even believe such nonsense in the first place. Players are suspended when grades are issued...or in this case...greer came off suspension a few weeks ago after the first quarter was over. Apparently, some website hasn't updated their information and still is carrying the original suspension that lasted through november 24 or whatever. Then somebody posts the info and sends it around with today's date on it and everybody goes "what the hey?". Please guys. Get informed. It takes much too much effort to have to even respond to this nonsense and set the record straight. Good luck.

YES SIR!!! getting informed right now as we speak......i should have known depaul was on the quarters system and not the semester system. AND....i should be spending less time running my company and more time finding out these things. Thanks for setting me straight sir!

I just called the head coach of Depaul, and surprisingly he answered. I asked him if Greer is playing. In a laughing voice he said,"Yes he's playing." He asked me, "Where did you hear that at." I said, "I just heard a rumor."

Sorry I wasn't so INFORMED Depaul Dude..............I may ask my boss if I can start capping games all day at work and than I will start contacting athletic departments etc... so that I am INFORMED!!! Read the date of the post.
