First of all, I like Georgetown in this game because they're at home and are a good enough team to stay with Illinois if they play well and try their hardest, but this isn't my reason for the post.

When I check the lines Illinois was -11.5 to start. They updated about 5 minutes later and Illinois had gone to -13, then 5 minutes later they were -12, and 5 minutes later they were -11, then 10 minutes later they were -10.5. Very interesting, never seen lines move so much and so fast before on this site, they are usually pretty stable. Perhaps a lot of smart money or big bets on GTown would make it move so fast? Anybody think this means anything?

a guess that a lot of people thought that the line was too expensive and leapt on Georgetown once it got that high. There are people here who follow line movements much more than I however and I am sure they will have a more thorough explanation.
