The Wednesday P.O.D. Thread!

Some Guidelines to follow:

1. Post you Play of the Day (P.O.D.) or Best Bet for the day.

2. Post just ONE play.

3. Use Sides or Totals or Moneyline Underdogs.

4. Post the line so people can try to get that same line. (If your best play is -4 and at the time you post your P.O.D., -4 can not be found anymore, please don't use that as your P.O.D.)

I will try to track this daily. I will try to post individual records and percentages and a CONSENSUS record and percentage.

This could be a great gambling tool. (Whether fade or follow)

Going with the red hot Phoneix Suns to cover -3 at the Lakers.
Phoneix is 8-1 ATS on the road and scored an average of 120 their last two games. LA can't keep up with that even if Kobe scores 50. Phoenix is just playing so good right now a 3 point spread seems rediculous against anyone.

If the play you post is no longer availabler at the time you post it in this thread, please refrain from using it. When this post was made -3 was no longer available. -4 was the best and that was by very few books. Most books have it at -4.5 or 5 already.

I want this thread used to help people make plays. If someone likes The Wizards and then sees you have a -3, he will think its still available at that price.

Please pick another POD or wait for tomorrow.

MC, the best way to do this is starting this thread when there are lines on all if not most of the games. Once the the lines are up you can post them to start the thread, then everyone just picks from the games and lines that were used to start the POD thread. That way everyone has the same lines regardless if there has been line movement later in the day.

I believe Jerback( the Nebraka dude) use to do this before. It used to be a monthly contest as well.

THERE ARE CONTESTS THAT ARE RUN THAT WAY WHERE THE LINES ARE ALL POSTED IN THE AM. THEN EVERYONE JUST WAITS UNTIL GAMETIME TO SEE THE LINE MOVES AND THEN THEY MAKE THEIR PLAYS. THAT IS NOT WHAT THE PURPOSE OF THIS THREAD IS.
