Back in the preseason you'll recall the Bengals totally dismantled the Pats 31-0! The 31 was put up by the Cinci first teamers against the Pats 1st teamers...for the most part at least. Cinci was talking a lot of smack after the game and the Pats have not forgot about that. Harrisson and Seymour were both interviewed this week and talked about this. They want a little payback even though it was only preseason. Belichick was also asked if his team forgot about that since it was only preseason. His response was i certainly hope not. Belichick is also notorious for not showing squat against a team he is going to play in the regular season.

Past experiences with teams that talked smack about the Pats almost always get smoked! This game will be no different! I don't care how good Cinci is playing..the Pats want this bad! The play is New England . They just destroy teams at Gillette.

G/L all with your plays. Oh almost forgot...Props to Bo...10-0...simply remarkable..keep up the great work!!!!!!

Read an interesting fact about the preseason game these 2 had cincy winning 31-0. Last year Buffalo beat N.E. early in the season 31-0 and if you remember the last game of the year N.E. beat Buffalo 31-0, it was like watching them do it so the score was exactly the same, N.E. can do whatever they want to an opponent. So don't be surprised to see the same thing happen here. THANKS to all I'm new but have been following posts here since last year and enjoy the angles and opinions of a very talented group. Win or lose we all have the same goal--WIN.

Another point to consider in this game is Corey Dillon vs is old team with a spin.

Corey needs 130 yards to hit a bonus in his contract. If he gets 130 yeards he will make an additional $500,000.00 bonus. Who better to do it against than his former team?

in Boston they refer to this as cash-n-carry.

If you remembered at the end of this meaningless game Buffalo was 1st and goal with little time left, but N.E. would not let them score and ended up intercepting Drew. They wanted to make sure it was 31-0

As an avid Patriots fans and season ticket holder, I just had to weigh in on this game. The Bengals have a great passing game, and NE is still playing a patchwork secondary. I see Dillon getting 25-30 carries in this game to keep the Bengals offense off the field as much as possible. This means a shorter game with all the ball control. I can see Cincinatti scoring 15-20 against New England, which means New England must put up between 26-31 to cover the 11.

I really think this is the game that New England wins comfortably, but does NOT cover. Cincinatti will put up a meaningless TD late for a backdoor cover.

Final Score --- 27-17

I heard Dillion has a thigh injury but should still play although might not get many carries...I'm thinking about taking Cincy...GL on your play

Homedawg, I found it posted on Yahoo...check it out...

Dec 9 Corey Dillon is listed as probable on the team's week 14 injury report. He suffered a thigh injury in the first half of week 13's win over the Browns. He returned for one play later in the game (a two-yard carry that gave him 100 on the day) and sat out the rest of the game with the Pats up big.
Views: Dillon and the team downplayed the injury after the game, and we fully expect Corey to play without a hitch on Sunday.

So he should be fine during the game just dont know if they will make him run as much
