spent last thursday and friday in Atlantic City and for the first time outside the live local hold 'em events I have been playing in I went into the poker room at Bally's....there was long waiting lists for the NL games so I sat for 4 excruciating hours at a 2-4 limit hold 'em game....for those just getting into hold 'em poker this is not the game to sit at....with the low wager amounts everyone stays in minimum to see the flop so you cant nudge mediocre pocket hands out and the max you can bet per card was 4 bucks on the turn and river....every friggin hand you are playing against 6-8 people....kept waiting for my name to be called to the NL game but in 4 hours only 2 names were called....I was sitting about 20th on the list.....it was agonizing.....the chip piles just slowly made their way around to each persons stacks depending on who had won a hand or two....I lost $85 and played for 4 hours....I think I won maybe a half dozen pots with maybe 60-100 bucks in each pot....I have been told that the Borgata has the best poker room down in A.C.....anyone confirm for me....thanks

It is definitely the best. They have the most tables in AC. We went on a Sunday and a Monday night. You could of found a no limit table within a half hour. Plus they have the best looking waitresses.

Dead, Borgata is by far the best poker room in A.C. It's the only place my friends and I play. Your right, 2-4 can be torture, definately a test on your patience. The tourneys at the Borgata are great, ecspecially the Monday morning $40 + 10. Some good players, but a ton of fish. I personally enjoy limit, but NL tourneys are my preference. Incedently, I wouldn't go to A.C. on the weekend to play poker, you'll wait forever! We usually go down and stay Sunday to Tuesday and have no problem getting a seat. BOL!!!!
