Decent day yesterday at 7-5. Looking to keep up the nice run going here today. There seems to be some solid games today so hopefully I'm not missing anything. If I can I'll try an add some writeups but I'm not sure if I'll have the time. Best of luck to everyone!!!!

November 28th

5* Seton Hall (-4) (-114) Over Rhode Island (Bought 1/2 pt)

Hall dissapointed most of us with there opening season loss to Richmond. Hall returns 4 of there starters from last season but they did lose there most influential player in Barrett. Still Hall possess a team if in the right situation that can still do some damage. All 4 starters are double figure scorers and they have a very strong inside game. The Richmond game was close throughout but a strong last few minutes by Richmond powered them through to the victory. As a former Rhody student the days of decent basketball there is pretty much over. Man this team has changed from when they had Cuttino Mobley, Lamar Odom and Tyson Wheeler. Right now Rhody's two best players are sidelined and just Hazleton and Mack have been consistent players so far. Rhody just dropped a dismal 3 pt loss to lowly Maine and that followed a 9 pt loss to a solid Manhattan team. In the Maine game Rhody had just 1 double figure scorer and shot 23.5% from the field and a little over 50% from the FT line. Defensively they've been solid but offensively they have been very poor. Rhode Island does have the home advantage in this game which is certainly a worry but to cancel that out most of the students are gone and Rhody usually never sells out there building anyway so there shouldn't be much of an advantage. Top to bottom Seton Hall possess the better lineup. They've got better scorers and better interior players. Seton Hall will need to tighten up there defense but they've had 9 days since there last game so I expect Orr to have worked on that factor with his team. Seton Hall should win this by double figures.

3* Virginia Tech (-7) (-107) Over William & Mary
2* TCU (-1) (-107) Over Florida St.
1* Denver (-3) (-109) Over Eastern Washington
1* Stanford (-1) (-108) Over Santa Clara
1* Fairfield/George Washington Over 135 (-124) (Bought 1/2 pt)

The reason why the line keeps going down is because URI is very tough at the Ryan Center. Even though URI is pretty bad, the Ryan Center is very tough for all visiting teams. Last year, St. Joe's game went down to the final seconds and actually URI had the last possession of the game that would have won. Two years ago, in the opening round of the NIT, SHU came to the Ryan Center in a similar situation only the line was a pk. SHU got up by about 17 at the half and URI came back and won the game on a 3 pointer by Dawan Robinson, who is out of this game, with 2 seconds left. Although these two teams are much different than they were this is the reason for the line movement...With all that being said, I hate this URI team and I look to bet against them as often as possible...

Seton Hall -3...2*

Good Luck Everyone!
