A tidbit about SD. I recall a trend to take a team that has covered 5 weeks in a row and is a dog. SD fits the bill as does Balt.

I am going against his Minn and KC picks. I like Houstan and Philly. I am passing on Cincy/clev. Cincy giving too many points but Cleve is in turmoil.

Now there's an idea.

Although I must say this for Hank. He picks 5 games every Sunday, plus MNF every week, so 6 total. Since he picks the same amount of games every week, I would have to assume that something in his contract with ESPN may say he must pick 5 on Sunday plus the MNF game.

If this is the case, he could easily be forcing plays certain weeks that he only likes say 3 games, or on MNF games that he really doesn't like much....resulting in a poorer record than he would have if he could limit his plays to only his favorites.

Although I could be wrong and he just sux.

Either way, he does give reasoning with his plays and even a projected final score, so I think something can be gained from watching him. His plays seem to do OK when he has good reasoning or good trends backing them, but sometimes he comes up with some really off the wall stuff to back his plays and that's often when they go :flush: These are the ones where I was guessing he may be forcing plays to reach a contractual agreement.
