Kenyon Martin hosts his former teammates, who lost last five games, scoring 72.2 ppg in last four. Nets are 2-7, and played just two road games so far, beating winless Bulls, losing in OT at Philly. Denver won and covered their last three games; three of their last four stayed under total. Nuggets are 5-2 vs spread at home.

Elsewhere, Wizards are quiet 5-4, 2-2 at home; their last three games went over. Raptors lost last two visits to this site by 26,14 points; average total in four series games last year was 152.8. Toronto is 1-5 on road, 3-3 vs spread

Depleted Pacers host Celtics, who lost two visits to Conseco last year by 1,13 points; suspension of Artest, O’Neal, Jackson turns Freddie Jones into primetime scorer. Celtics scored 106 ppg in splitting their two road games; they lost to Indiana 100-94 on November, but those Pacers won’t resemble these Pacers.

No Ben Wallace or Coach Brown for Pistons, who squeaked past Charlotte 117-116 in double OT Sunday; they’re 1-6-1 vs spread in last eight games; three of their four road games went over total. Bobcats lost last seven games; seven of their nine games went over total. Charlotte is 2-3 vs spread at home.

Knicks won all three games vs Atlanta last year, with wins at this site by 11,12 points. Hawks scored more than 88 points just once in nine games, with seven of those nine staying under total; they’re 2-3 as road dog. Knicks are 3-1 at home; they covered last three games. Four of their home games stayed under the total.

Portland beat Heat twice last year, by 1,8 points, but with happenings in Indiana and Shaq deal, Miami is now favored to win East. Heat is 5-1 at home, but 1-5 as home favorite- they covered just one of last eight games, with four of last five going over total. Last four Portland games also went over the total.

Minnesota won three of four vs Seattle last year, splitting two games here, but their three wins were by 18,13,7 points. Sonics are 9-2, 8-0 if they score 88+ points. Oddly, their two losses are by 30,19 points. T’Wolves won four of last five games; they had tough 83-82 win at Dallas last night- they’re 0-2 this year if they played the night before.

Sacramento won their last five games; they’re 5-0 at home, and get chance to avenge 104-101 loss at Houston on November 6, when they shot just 37.5% and blew 8-point halftime lead. Rockets were 0-4 vs Kings last year, losing at this site by 29,5 points, but they’ve won four of last five road games, allowing just 83.4 ppg in those five.

Hornets got first win of season in Utah last night, despite shooting 35.4% from floor; they beat Golden State twice last year, by 18,11 points, but are punchless with Davis hurt. New Orleans is 3-0 as road dog however, with losses by 7 and 3 points, plus last night’s win. Warriors lost eight of ten games, with last four going over total.


Lakers beat Bucks twice last year, by 1,6 points, in games where average total was 213.5. LA won three of last four games; they’re 3-2 as home favorite- their last four games stayed under total. Bucks lost last four games, failing to cover last three; three of their last four went over. Milwaukee is 0-4 on road, with losses by 1-2-12-9 points.
